  1. Below is a list of gzip programs, available on this CD-ROM, for non-Unix 
  2. operating systems. Unix versions of gunzip have not been supplied since
  3. most Unix operating systems already have this software. If you are running 
  4. Unix and don't have gunzip, you can acquire it at the following URL:

  10. winzip95.exe          - Windows 95/NT
  11. winzip31.exe          - Windows 3.1

  13.     WinZip is shareware software that brings the convenience of Windows 
  14.     to decompressing your files. The WinZip Wizard makes unzipping easier 
  15.     than ever. WinZip features built-in support for popular Internet file 
  16.     formats, including TAR, gzip, Unix compress, UUencode, BinHex, and 
  17.     MIME. ARJ, LZH, and ARC files are supported via external programs. 
  18.     WinZip interfaces to most virus scanners. To use winzip simply 
  19.     download and install the software on you computer. Further 
  20.     instructions are available after installing the software.

  53.     This file can be converted from it's archived formats using StuffIt 
  54.     Expander. To uncompress a file simply drop it on the macgzip icon or 
  55.     use the "Open" command under the "File" menu. Be sure that gzip is 
  56.     set to "binary" and "uncompress" before uncompressing a file. These 
  57.     options can be set under the "gzip" menu. See the documentation 
  58.     supplied with this software for additional information on how to use 
  59.     it.
